Description of work
Three pairs of sugar tongs rotate around three sugar bowls with the sound of the small tongs tinkling against the large bowl.

In lower light conditions all the bowls glow from below. The work can be stood against a wall (on a mantel piece or shelf for example) or away from a wall on a plinth.

Afternoon tea is quintessentially English and the accoutrements of this ‘ceremony’ are loaded with class signifiers.
